I installed Rollup 10 on a dev box at my client’s site, and discovered the web resources data entry for scripts gave me an error of “You have exceeded the maximum number of 2000 characters in this field; it will be truncated.”
This wasn’t seen until I tried to edit code in a web resource that has greater than 2000 characters. If you click OK, the text will be truncated.
Microsoft knows about this issue (yay – it’s a bug not a feature!) and I’m sure they are working on a fix.
In the meantime, the workaround is click Cancel (instead of OK) and the code will not be truncated. Then, you can save and publish like normal.
