Enabling Synchronization between Outlook and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 online

In the world we live in today, email is a vital component to our personal and business daily activity.   Nothing can be more frustrating when email stops flowing for even a short time. If you have recently installed Microsoft CRM Dynamics 2015, I have written this blog to help reduce the stress of managing an email server by letting Microsoft Office 365 host your email service with Exchange Online. In the following steps I will show you how to integrate Exchange Online with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online to take advantage of CRM Online email features.

Login into your CRM Production instance and navigate to Settings>Security



Click the Users icon to open and select the user record for editing



Select the User record you wish to edit.



Click on the (…) icon to open up additional options.  Click on the Open Mailbox icon.


 Check that Incoming and Outgoing Email is set to Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook is selected.


 Check the Test Mailbox Icon.  Once you click the icon, CRM will test the user mailbox.  Once the test is scheduled, you will see the following message: 


 Finally, click the Approve Email Icon.
